Winklemoor Bears are handcrafted on the edge of the Welsh Valleys in Wales, UK by myself Elaine Morgan.
I first started creating Winklemoor Bears in 1997, supplying family and friends whilst developing my own unique patterns. They can now be found in a few local shops with plans to supply further afield. I now feel they have evolved enough to be shown to the rest of the world.
All these bears are designed for the adult collector unless otherwise stated. They are not suitable as children’s toys. Most of them are made using mohair, the luxury hair of the Angora goat, although I do use other high quality fabrics from time to time. Although most of the bears are one of a kind similar bears can be made in a colour or fabric to suit you, please ask for details.
