Here's a bit about me. I started designing and creating bears in 1992 at the age of 14. I still can't believe that it has been that long! Making bears and other critters is my Passion! I am a self taught maker and have never taken a class or had any professional teaching in Bear making. Everything I have learned has been on my own through trial and error... and lots of needle poked fingers on my part ;).


I grew up in the City Known for it's Monster Shopping mall... the city of Edmonton (in Alberta, Canada Eh ;) ). A few years ago we decided to leave the city to get away from it all. Now I live on a quiet Acreage near the Picturesque town of Stony Plain, with all my wonderful pets. I Love animals and have a my own menagerie! Four wonderful dogs, 2 very hairy Maine Coon Cats, a Loud but Loveable Blue Front Amazon parrot, one very Adorable Chameleon, 3 Turtles I've had forever, Japanese Koi fish, which stay out in the pond during our short Summer. AND last but not least..... I left the Scary pets till last... I also have 7 Tarantulas! Most people don't understand my adoration for my 8 legged buddies.. I think you have to keep one to see their intrigue :) :)
