Brendan trained as a tailor and has been producing handmade collectible bears since December 2006. The bears are made from mohair or synthetic fur fabric and are traditionally constructed with glass eyes, hand embroidered nose and cotterpin joints (not suitable for people under 14 years of age) or can be made young person friendly with safety eyes and joints. All the bears have felt, suede or faux suede paws and pads and are stuffed with polyester. Some bears have growlers or musical buttons but every bear wears a smart bow, a 'Brendan's Bears' swing tag and has a burgundy and silver maker's label.
