Barron Bears has been in existence for some 17 years now, and Sharon specialises in a teddy bear look from the early 1900s, as well as her renowned Teddy Bear Purses, for which she is world famous.

I've been making teddy bears for 17 years now. My love for designing and sewing began as a child, creating my doll clothes from patterns I designed. I also sewed many patchwork quilts, curtains and my own school clothes from scratch, reveling in the rich patterns and textures of the fabric.

I love the old style bears of the early 1900's. I never had teddy bear as a child and I think that each teddy bear I create is an attempt to reach for that elusive childhood teddy bear I never had.
