Apple Dumpling Bears by Shantell Whitney

My name is Shantell and I am the artist and creator behind APPLE DUMPLING BEARS. I'm new to the world of bearmaking but am completely hooked in all it's furry snugglyness. I started making bears as a creative outlet. I've been a quilter for several years and needed to venture on another creative path. I love everything about the artistry of soft scultpture from designing a new creation to accessorizing each and every little one. It is so much fun watching their little personalities come to life so to speak and to see parts of my own personality evolve in each one.

Each APPLE DUMPLING BEAR is made from the finest materials available and I take great care in bringing them to life. I pay special attention to the little details that go into creating a unique bear or critter. I'm constantly learning new techniques and fine tuning old ones. I'd like to thank all my new bear making friends and mentors for all their encouragement and sharing all their secrets...without them this wouldn't be possible.
